The taxi waits.

Then like a premonition

I have a mirrored memory

the scent of her

remembering the

ins and outs of our arguments...

She's smiling as she

She's laughing as we fail

I, myself Tommy that's me

Tommy is thinking:

why do posters refer to themselves

in the third person?

I have tried to,

so has himself.

When speaking in the third person

why?

can two people converse

Applause

you and me

Don't you know
it's just a rage
a tempest brewed
from grape not sage-
in all the world
there's not a stage
not tread by feet already.

And so I bow
and bid me out
you cared for nought
nor gave a shout
as all that is
will come about
with out you being ready.

Walking side-ways

There is one scoffing,
high and winsome
even now about the town-
pointing, looking, directing traffic
this way, that way up and down-
then anointing,
lay the mantra-
cries- 'I love you'
I'm walking side-ways with a frown.

I feel the hem of your thinking...
only to have it tugged away...
only to have it tugged away...

Bloody Valentine

I grabbed the blade
She held the handle
I gripped it tight
She swifly pulled
and smiled
I looked at her smile
She assured me of
our continuing friendship.

fingers

The putting down

The putting down of glasses
(as when laying down a book)
is as
ordinarily an action
as
after sips of beer are took,

but when
the putting down of something
is not laying it to rest
it's the extra ordinary something
of the lifting up that's best.

I washed her

In a white plastic bucket

I soaked away her body's breath,

the evidence she had  left.

There's a sigh that is written

Rachel oh Rachel
(my word is my bond)
In three generations
(no need to despond)
your touch will have gone,
like the tread that you leave
and only a name's left
for those that will grieve.
But along with your thoughts
(that furnish your lines)
there's a sigh that is written
- your voice echoes betimes .

Wandering expositions

Poetry has many inspections
each line remains re-touched;
we frown at fingered collections
of nouns and other stuff.
There are troublesome inflections,
and bleeding, wrung-out verbs-
the wandering expositions
of rhymes the metre serves.
There are stand alone conjunctions
in hope that it amazes
where
in solitude it functions
in contrived s...
