Re; Brewing up - couldn't agree more M.C. There must a word out there that perfectly describes this mind boggling scenario - (something like conundrum). Will it ever come to a satisfactory conclusion for everyone. I think Writeoutloud helps us get it off our chest. I wonder if that word I might be thinking of could be 'Wrexit' or could even be 'Vexed it' Am sure someone will coin a suitable phrase one day. ?

Hi Don - Brewing Up. Certainly is politics and driving us absolutely potty with the different takes of MP input and delay. Politicians all seemed to have reached a new level of public disapproval - and it will take them a very long time to regain their street cred if they ever will. But I for sure, am not the lone voice in the wilderness. P ?

Hi Ruth and since you ask Reiki was certainly one of these and various other forms of meditation following my NDE some years ago, the latter I think might have been a spur although matters of the subconscious have often helped me formulate my poetic style both on line as well as hard copy. ?

Oh! I see my mistake now John. I thought they were your views and not those of another poet posted last February that you have dragged back for some god knows why reason.
Then I noticed that you have recently turned your profile into a David Moore tribute page. Now it all makes sense.
So let me tell you where I am. I’ll not create another battlefield here on WOL with you.
My advice, not that I suspect you’ll take it is, please take care and keep your comments to other’s work. You might also feel like apologising to the person whose comments you’ve plagiarised too.
As for me.....none taken!

Thanks for your comment Isobel, that's very kind of you. ? I'm loving reading the little insights people are adding to Graham's discussion topic. The way/how people create definitely does pique my curiosity (nosiness?).

As for your poem yesterday, I absolutely agree and had been thinking about a similar one expressing my wondering of all the poets on WoL whose work remains but they themselves have moved on. When I get time I love to jump back in time on this site and discover poems from those who aren't posting daily. I often discover fantastic pieces of writing. I might comment on them or like them never sure whether the author will ever see it or if they're even still alive. How to sum all this up in a poem, well, I'll have to wait for inspiration to strike... ? Tom.

It's funny but before I'd even read Graham's comment I thought how lovely and refreshing your profile writeup was. A poet who's actually interested in how other people think and create. Not everyone is and you meet many on the poetry scene who aren't there to listen at all.

Thanks for commenting on my poem Tom. I very much enjoyed your Cooling Towers poem - a relationship poem with some depth and originality.

Listening to the profile tune and got a bit lost. Enjoyed the melody, tempo and your voice. Are you also the instrumentalist? If so, great delivery. If no, still good. Some things don't come immediately. Would you agree Michael?

Creasote is the word I hear you say. It's used to preserve wood utility poles. I believe it is deemed poisonous here in Western WA. I just now see there is a medicinal creasote bush that provides a resin for the wood preservative. Wow, I am still learning stuff. Never heard of a creasote bush before a few minutes ago.

Kinda feel it is a love song, but haven't figured out how. I got stuck on preserved poles and medicinal bushes. Maybe, just a little more time. ?

Hello Don. Thank you for commenting on my poem.
I think we're all developing all the time as poets. I cringe at my early stuff but it was all part of a process or an ascent, to use your analogy - though I'm not sure I'll ever make it to where I'd like to be.
I used to live in Ausyralia. It's a beautiful country. You'll have to open an open mic night there! If you don't already go to one!
