The Void

Hey there lonely girl,

what are you doing wandering around

these dark places?

Don’t you know that

evil lurks about?

The void is littered

with those who will use you,

abuse you,

scar your soul for eternity.

Listen to my pleas,

I’m begging on bended knees,

move forward

towards the light,

no matter how tempting

the mysterious

shadows may be.

Not sure how I mistook Big Sal for Po (or anyone else) when I know you have no fear of marching into the inferno where few dare to tread. Thanks for your support Jacob. You are awesome! ?

I don't think Po has seen this gem yet, Vautaw.?

My pen name is Big Sal, but you can call me Jacob if you wish.

Sorry though, I can't be Po. He's too cool for school and fools like me.?

Ghazala, That lonely girl was once me, but now I am content with my own company. It's a lovely place to be. Just me, a quill, and the sacred tree.

Lonely girls have no fear, which is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because we are not afraid to explore the crevices of our mind or world and rather enjoy the adventure. We are rarely bored. A curse because we can get lost there if we don't take care to protect our soul. Thanks Big Sal for guarding the gate with brimstone. ?

Never fear the dark or the monsters within it.

They should fear us.

Fire begets magma.??

So true Ghazala. My observation and experience has been that we rarely heed sage advice but wish we had in hindsight.

Time teaches good lessons that preaching can't teach. Few blows keeps the head awake for the rest of the time.

caring words, i hope she pays heed on time...?
