Wildflower Wishes

entry picture

Bury me in a blanket of wildflowers,

nutured by morning dew,

where lilacs perfume the air,

jasmine lights up the night,

wind and rain serenade gardenias,

delicate roses are protected by bushy thorns,

forget-me-nots bloom...

where dandelion wishes

brings me back to you.

Thanks my beautiful poet friends for stopping by and giving a nod to my feeble attempt at catching my muse. Such an elusive creature! I just captured one stanza, that I keep editing for some reason. It is far from done. Feel free to add to it to make it your own. Where would you like to be buried? Good one John. Way to give back to Mother Earth!

Lovely sentiment, Vautaw. I have told my kids to chuck me on the compost heap. Nowhere near as pastoral but strong on recycling.
