Welcome to WOL. Rejection is a word we WOLers hardly recognise. Inclusion is more our universal 'style'. It really is a fine site. Enjoy all the diverse people and their poems. And make comments whenever you can. Generally those who make observations receive them too, which totally makes sense.
Tapashree is a very unusual name - most delightful. What is its origin?

"My" I think repetition

"tut tutted' my
use of it.

Hi DK - the humour in your blogs is always welcome and
especially when it connects with things we find ourselves
suffering in this electronic/keep-up world. I tend to agree
with TA when he mentioned his suspicions that clicking on
"unsubscribe" might send an unwanted message to its
source - and, instead, I look for "delete" whenever possible. Rest assured, I do not see that happening in respect of anything you post on past/present evidence ?.

I haven't been to Wigan for a while - other stuff has seemed to clash every month (mainly rugby and my own gigs) but I am the guest at WOL Sale this coming Tuesday and will be doing a couple of sets of my poems set to music if you're about

Thanks Pyrola for your liking of 'Strange Fruit'. I really like 'Flames': "It’s the burning I desire". But most of all I love and admire the musicality of your verse. Such a strong sense of metre and rhythm: a dance of words.

did you ever have encounters with Ants?
best to use drones on them
takes the sting out of fighting.

Hi, thanks for commenting "I hope the sleep function is working". Your comments and feedback are always appreciated. I wrote it when arriving into bed a few hours after my husband, as I often do, as the dead of night is the only really poetry oppportunity for me. How poetry fits into couples' lives could be an interesting discussion thread...

That's funny stuff, but nah nothing too dicey. I got the pen name from a portmanteau of the first two rap names I had when I started back in high school.
Not my best work, but someone had to do it.

It is tough for me to get thru that poem without crying. It took a few takes. I messed up a phrase at the end but at least I made it thru without crying. She was my very best friend.
