Picking out profiles at random because i'm new to this site. I'm a spiritualist medium and healer first, writer second.
It seems prophetic that yours is the third one in a row i picked out which were all your last entries on my Birthday. Maybe i'll see you in Liverpool soon.
Janet.

There's so much truth in these poems.
I'm new to the site and scouring profiles. Incidentally, yours is the second one tonight i've dropped onto which were written on my Birthday.

Melon ball starter. Hmm!
Wkd blue as an aperitif.
Followed by 2 large scoops honeydew,
served up with lashings of squirty cream,
full length of a large, ripe, peeled banana.
p.s. i'll take a closer look at "Below the belt."

Thanks for down to earth humour, much needed.

Hi Estelle.
Welcome to WOL. Your comments came as a bit of a surprise. The thread that has developed between 'Tai' and me is unfortunate. He obviously has a passion for his work and considers any objective opinion as a criticism. His behaviour is typical of many artists who attempt to defend every comment that they make, instead of accepting that not everybody will have similar views on structure and content. I am not obsessed with just adjectives, as much as I do enjoy their company, I also enjoy other parts of language(s), including their phonetics.
In all this 'Tai' seems to forget that I actually enjoy his stuff to such an extent that I comment about it.
'Dazzo' is fine. I've been called a lot worse but I don't particular think that I get off on being a critic. Some people actually ask for my advice - so I give it to 'em.

Hello, Tomas
Thank you for your lovely comment! Yes, you had the right feelings within the lines in my poem. Life as it happens. Often takes toll on everyone and then we feel as a bent tree that would fall if not supported by others in this case family member, friends...Etc.
Warm Regards,
Zuzanna

The wonderful world of performance poetry. It's certainly a different way of writing. I'm quite new to it but recorded some stuff over at myspace (link in the profile). I enjoyed reading through your work and I can certainly see how it would be rewarded when performed live.

Once again you've made a happy man very old. No - that's not right - you know what I mean don't you?
Mia - your poetry is laugh out loud funny. When are we going to hear it performed at Wigan? Well, anywhere for that matter.

Hiya Mia
In work - skiving - and decided to read your new poems...
So glad I did. You've really cheered me up... You've made an old man very happy... Erm... Can we agree that I like your poems in a manner that doesn't make me sound like a perv?
Great. Porn.
F(ine) art's sub-title (Done as a posh bird) made me laugh out loud. And The liver is evil and must be punished reads well off the page, though it'd be worthwhile thinking about putting some audio samples of your work up here - you perform it well too. Both of your poems cover an important area of poetry rarely addressed. Namely - getting pissed; being sick; bad sex and farting. Well done! I'd like to see Larkin write stuff like that - given that he's dead.
And just WHAT are you looking up at in that new photo of yours?!
No. Wait. Don't answer that.
Steve
