When my other sister returned from hospital care I sent her my
tune "Home Again Rag" - an upbeat "welcome back home".
Just a thought to keep your spirits up in the fight against the invader!

HI there dk - just found your note of Tuesday 8th September about
"surgery tomorrow" (today) - so I hope this finds you having returned
safe and sound from the procedure and a suitable rest thereafter.
Onwards and upwards! ???

Hello Vautaw, thanks for welcoming me to WOL. I am really enjoying the experience as well as reading your poems so far.
I appreciate your encouragement to write on and welcome any other comments/advice you may have to give in future.
So glad you can relate to my poems...I kind of get transfixed on a theme until I have exhausted its resources.
It is my fear that as a result my poems could get monotonous/mundane...but such is my style

They want us to become nameless and subservient
so they can control us-
we shut down
we wear masks
we give up our jobs and businesses
Baa Baa Bah
we are now complacent sheep.

Hi DK - I did read that Seattle's lady police chief had resigned due
to a reduction in police funding. A notable decision considering the
social instability that has been occurring in that area of the USA
lately. .
Oh - by the way...yes, i did pay off that hire
purchase plan on that record player of my
youth. It was one of my better buys for the enjoyment it gave me back then.
