Biography

I am a 24 year old aspiring social work student. I have always enjoyed reading, but never thought i was any good at writing. Then my granddad died and i made a small contribution, in the shape of a poem. Everybody loved it because it was so sentimental. I found it very effective at letting my emotions seep out. So i am going to try it as a coping method of feelings.

Remember when we laughed so hard Thinking back to when you was our bodyguard. When I would stroll in with a head of hair That would have given the neighbors a scare. Oh what colour are we today? you would say, And I knew then that I had made your day. When we had soup and pie for lunch, Along with all the other munch. The carrot and butterbean soup you had daily, You loved it that much, it drove us all crazy. Remember your lovely red jumper, Which was your one hit wonder, No one else suited red as much as you, Not even I, although I always tried to. The odd flutter you would have at the betting shop, And all those wins would make jaws drop. Walking around with your little trilby on, People knew you were the only one. Gone but never forgotten, I wear red silk cotton, As we gather here to remember, Your love which was so tender. Until we meet up in the sky You will be forever the apple of my eye.
