No Time For Mistakes.

I wish I could reach into my head and

Squeeze you from my brain.

Like as if I could leave our little patch of history in a pool by my feet,

And watch memories sweep the floor like tiny sand storms.

I wish I could replace our words with silence,

Our touches with atmosphere,

And our love with repulsion but you ripped my soul from my chest and took it with you,

An...

I want to kiss you at midnight - Sir Benjamin character piece

I want to kiss you at midnight - Sir Benjamin poem
by OpenMind on Sunday, 2 September 2012 at 12:21 ·

I want to kiss you at midnight,

feel the wibbly-wobbly ripples of time.

I want to kiss you at midnight

staring deep into your eyes.

Though it may take time,

time is of t...

All The Time In The World

hewn in antiquity of fire and ice

rough fell born in flash and fury hurled

from the high ground fountainhead

set in motion artlessly impelled

downwards tumbling by such attraction

that demands all obey its draw

but my life’s course stretches far beyond

your mortal grasp and moves at a pace

measured in millennia as you count days

I may rest b...

It's a very sad day when a Loved one dies

human or animal we all only have one life

so we gotta live it up for the ones that pass

too the fullest on this earth is what I'm aiming at.

So let's up those downs and make the bad more better.

Even if you're feeling like shit or rained on by bad weather

you can overcome the end of this glitch called living

by cooking up you...

GOTHIC STORM

GOTHIC STORM

Gothic storm across the heavens, splitting

the sky in two creating a rip in the fabric

of the sky into which the earth will fall,

doomed and dead into the abyss of time

forever more. We are the generation of the damned,

condemned to be this for the rest of our lives

until we die, by our own hand

or that of Old Father Time or of our enemie...

OCEAN PLANE

OCEAN PLANE

Great, warm wet ocean rolling, curving, boiling cauldron.

Little grains of sand – brown, white, clear, black.

Thrown together onto the beach.

A small layer, a medium layer, a deep layer compressed into rock.

Hundreds of feet thick. Exposed to elements, rain, cold, wind, snow.

No warm carboniferous sun here. Just a windy plateau of a rock face.

Events and Time

Events and Time

I guess my feelings don’t really matter, that I don’t need anyone by my side when I’m down or upset or depressed. Don’t you know I’m just like anyone else? Though I’m different I’m just the same inside don’t you see? Do you know how hard it is to live alone and not have anyone to care for you? And when I meet someone who I thought was special, to let her in and trus...

NEARLY THERE

NEARLY THERE

In less than an hour it will be 1997.

In this short time do you remember?

Do you shrug off the past to make way for the future

or do you hold on to the dying year

seeing every minute disappear before your eyes?

On this, the last day we have been covered by snow

and frozen by the cold as the old God Cronus turns

his hour glass over for ano...
