Becky, solidarite! I know how you feel! English is not my mother language either but I love it so much! I can't help it! It's the tongue of my heart! I write and think and read in it as much as I can! Kudos for putting your work out there! ?

Daniel,
Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate this. At present I am writing a series of articles on the Poetry of the Great War which you can find posted on the WOL Main Page. It has a Union Jack above them. Your work interests me. I would like to see more of it.
Thanks again
Keith

Thank you so much for your wonderful words on 'The Place where only dead men sleep. I apologise for my my very delayed response. I have flitted into WOL now and again but fell 'out of love' with all poetry. Your comment means a lot to me.
(Your P.O.T.W. a few months back was very well worthy).
You have some wonderful work.

Thanks for your very kind words on 'The Ship they call Alzheimer's'.
I do have an alternate Verse 9 (which I have used for a local Dementia support group).
Alternate verse (9)...
When you see me do impulsive things
Risks I normally wouldn't take
It's how I am my friend these days
All I'm asking is a break
As a performance piece the line with 'piss take' has the shock factor. Much appreciated M.C.

Marmite is something similar to Vegamin I think in the USA and Rioja is a Spanish wine. Both are delicious. You must be somewhere else on the globe I think.

what the heck is marmite?
and Rioja?
Marmite is a small furry animal.
Rioja is a Spanish fly.
I think.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say I had a ball on Saturday, it was an excellent event. I tried to load photos onto this page, but they went on my profile page instead - plus half of them are sideways (they were the right way up on my phone)!
I should have asked your permissions before posting them, so if anyone doesn't like their pic, please let me know and I'll take it down. I personally think you are a handsome / gorgeous lot and gave a completely professional performance at the Gallery.
Mark and Deborah have posted on social media over the weekend and were more than happy with the day. Katherine Rossetti was also very pleased with how popular the event was and thanked us for our time and support.
Good times!
I look forward to Randy's Poetry Trail Open Mic on Wednesday and hope to see you there.
Nic

Thanks Nigel, although I don't know why half of them have turned sideways? They are the right way up on my phone??? Nice shirt ? I'll add more pics... if anyone doesn't want their photo displayed, please let me know and I'll take it down (I should have asked first - sorry).

Hi D
No I don't carry the sign a round with me. It was more about my presumption at calling myself a poet and leaving it to others to decide. It is probably getting a bit old now so I should perhaps change the profile picture.
Cheers
Martin

Dear Cynthia, Thank you for the warm welcoming words! I love your suggestion of being a giver to become a receiver.
My mother named me, and her love and thought is bonded with my name. Thank you liking it.
Tapashree has Sanskrit roots, and may be interpreted in a few ways. I prefer to believe it means "the soft glow of endurance".
Tapa means endurance.
Shree means Diffusing radiance, beauty, prosperity...
It may also be interpreted as the "beauty of heat" with Tapas (heat) and Shree.
