thanks M.C. for visiting.

Hello Trevor, liked your Brexit villanelle. As you seem to know a lot more about poetry than I do, could you have a peek at my poem 'Regrets', which I intended as a villanelle, and tell me if I was right about the form, at least?
Thanks, Jennifer

thanks for the kind comments on 'In Memoriam' Ray - yes, I guess we all reach that point in life where we are losing friends and relatives more frequently. I'm glad that NaPoWriMo has kick started me back on WOL again - I had 3 or 4 months off doing other creative stuff - but this has given me a much needed kick up the backside to get writing again.
Glad you liked it mate
Ian

Hi Stu
I'll read the review and buy the book. My story collection is available on Amazon for £8.99 or probably from the Publish & Print website. Or email me at johnbouzouki@gmail.com with your address and I can post you a copy. On Amazon look for: The Private Unmentionable Gargoyle by Hubert Tsarko (pen name) and there's a review by Paul Waring as well. PS Yeah let me know when you'll be reading next in Liverpool with venue etc.
Cheers, John

To be perfectly honest Cynthia I didn't know, so I found out and it seems to be some sort of stylised Menorah or seven branched lamp stand ?.
I don't know the significance of it in this picture, if any. All I could find out was:
stands for light, wisdom, and Divine inspiration. In this period of darkness, we welcome the approaching Festival of Lights and the timeless lessons of the Holy Menorah.

Interesting bio, Jason. Why would anyone look askance at someone else writing in rhyme! It boggles the mind.
I also choose my words very carefully, and I highly value my dictionary and thesaurus, often searching for the exact 'word', the nuance I want to 'cultivate'. IMO, poetry is deliberate.
I look forward to reading more of your work.
I do wonder how sarcasm is ever 'loving'.
What does the symbol imply? The jagged teeth one, like a fork?

Not too bad Jacob me ol'mukker. Can't walk, in pain a lot. BUT my daughter is about to give birth and that is beyond anything. I'm sure you know. Thanks for the ointment you sent me/ It is having an ameliorative effect but not enough. I need surgery and i'm seeing the surgeon on the 28th. More I read about Colorado, the more I like it. VERY progressive for a western state. All the best now and forever to you and your family. John
