Re; Enterprising Ants - I couldn't agree more Ann - nature always has a reason for doing things however horrifying we might sometimes think they are x

Hi Andy, Thx for looking and commenting on Behind Glass Curtains. You mention the line 'Her reflection was more beautiful than her truth could confess' Not sure what it means exactly, but I thought it was quite smooth, Something to do with her etherial qualities I think. Win x

Always look on the bright side of life. You could be young and ugly, or old and ugly, or made out brown paper that someone's just set fire to.

Thank you for your feedback; it was very kind of you.All my poems are songs now as I felt I was better at writing songs than poetry - only took me three or four years to begin to understand the difference! Thanks again; it means a lot when someone of your experience takes the time to comment.
Thanks again - I put my stuff on http://www.mask-mp3.com/

Hi Kealan, The chat facility usually works if you are very patient. A 'typing' sound effect will occur when you get a reply. The temptation is to think "oh the bloody thing isnt working" and click off or try to reconnect, don't just hang on in there if poss , its not ideal I know. Win (Admin)

Hello Melanie
Thanks for your kind thoughts on Senior, Haircut and my masterpiece of epic verse, Breakfast of Champions.
You say, up top, that you're not a poet; well - as you can see, neither am I.
So get posting.

Not that I'm looking to outdo you in dirtiness LOL but I think once a week might have been a luxury for me. No-one's fault though. Could you imagine looking after a paralysed husband with a stack of kids, the only means of heating water being a fire and then on top of that having to go out to work? My mum was superwoman - still is. I was very lucky in many ways. Looking back does make you realise how lucky our kids are now though - let's hope they appreciate it.
