Thanks for your comments on Hierarchy of Evil.
To nose it is to lop off the best end gooey bit before anyone else. It's a crime of humongous proportions.
As every gentleman knows (some ladies too!) you should cut along the side of your wedge so everyone gets a bit of the nose.
So let me know if you need any help with your wedge. Noblesse oblige.

Thank you for your comments - save me some trifle, I'm starving! I'm going to take yet another look at the second stanza. Something about the rhythm is irking me, and I realised my old fault of repeat words crept in.

wow Greg-waxwing..what a beaut! so I can,t out-spot you with a pipistrelle up me back alley last summer? thought it was a dirty stop out butterfly at first..so tiny! ps-I thought the nuthatch was a kingfisher at first glance-very similar-I spotted him in the daughters South Wales garden.

hi there Greg-appreciate your comments on 'Migrator'-as for bird spotting the only two species that I have been fortunate enough to see were my first sighting of a nuthatch and one of my favourites-in fact a 'family' of long tailed tits-wow what a stunning bird-all happily gathered around a left-over christmas cake.thank heavens for them all! best to you Greg-SW

Hi Marianne, I play a mixture of music. Here is a link to some home recorded material. These songs are quite old now and I have a lot of new material.

I like to experiment and currently am working on yet another demo.

Jesus unplugged - well done Win.
- with quite a lot of mine, people ask "what's it all about?"
& a difficult one to answer in absolutely every case, as we have everything from rhyming, blank, lyrical, demotic, narrative, obscure, florid, etc etc and every mix inbetween. You might as well ask the same question of Damien Hirst re a shark in formalin ! :)

Marianne, do get 'yer ole guee-tar' out. I would be honoured. I tried song-writing with my own music, but did recognize humdrum when I saw it; it's still a bit of a dream actually. I did a Christmas piece once with the tune in a misty minor key, quite lovely really; it was set to accompaniment by a professional composer, sung at services in different churches, but never published.

Hello missus
Thank you for your, as ever, thoughtful comments on Baptism.
Yes, I've heard similar tales re young girls and budding sexuality. Makes me boiling angry, the hypocrisy of it all. How DARE they.

Ooo stealing the hot water - hanging offence in our house! 4 of us used to share the water - can you imagine people doing that now?!
Comment is about Isobel (poet profile)
Original item by Isobel
Yay - I've found someone who had the same hot water system! I can remember having to stoke the fire real high if I wanted a bath, even in the middle of summer - then some bastard would swan in there and steal your water if you weren't looking! Oh happy days! x

I am outdone! In dirtiness stakes! ;D Heh - naw, your ma sounds like a proper superwoman. We had a coal fire to heat water too - had to pull the 'damper' down to get the water hot, and quite often the water would be stained with rust. that probably didn't help with the tidemarks ;)
It's heartwarming to hear you talk about your mum like that :)
Comment is about Isobel (poet profile)
Original item by Isobel
Not that I'm looking to outdo you in dirtiness LOL but I think once a week might have been a luxury for me. No-one's fault though. Could you imagine looking after a paralysed husband with a stack of kids, the only means of heating water being a fire and then on top of that having to go out to work? My mum was superwoman - still is. I was very lucky in many ways. Looking back does make you realise how lucky our kids are now though - let's hope they appreciate it.
