Will you be mind?

My time

Is not mine

But our time

You’ve made your bed in my dreams

I lie in it

But

this isn’t me

See,

I would part with my skin

If it weren’t attached

And never look back

But

Each night when I close my eyes for sleep

I see you in my head

Your feet poke out one side of your bed

And oh,

It makes me giddy for you

And so,

I end up crawling in beside you

- Always -

I do

And oh,

In the mornings

I miss you

Haha. Thank you all for the comments! It's crazy how someone can still be such a big part of your life even when you no longer see them anymore (in my case, this is because of geographical distance). Even if your conscious mind works to move on, you might still dream of them regularly because your subconscious finds it harder to let go - these are the feelings which my poem stems from

I like the idea of dream habitation...seems like a lot can 've done with that concept. What you have done is lovely and sad and sweet. Thank you for reading my poem Pronoun. I hope you have a chance to read a few more. In A House with Feathers it us the house which is dreaming...would love to know what you thought.

Clver tile Alex. And then it unfolds in a gentle, romantic song.
Is it real? Or is it a fantasy?

Keep going.
