Healing Muses

When you felt so alone,

drowning in an ocean of storms,

with no place to call home,

I was here all along,

sending you love

and healing energy.

I’m happy to see

you feel me,

on this poetic journey.

Great insights as alway Po. I learned that lesson many moons ago, one can only be healed when they do the internal mind, body, and spirit work necessary to heal. Healers can only light the path from their own journey.

Thanks for stopping by Moon Girl (cool name). I try to remember that it’s nearly impossible to be grateful and depressed at the same time. I’m so grateful for the gift of poetry!

Thanks Ruth! I also love Elvis. When I was a little girl I wanted to be the first female Elvis impersonator! ? I went around making my voice deeper to imitate him singing “Blue Suede Shoes” and “Hound Dog.” Still makes me smile when I think about it.

I hope and pray some deep healing comes from all this Covid craziness!

Great poem Victoria. I've been thinking a lot about the healing aspect of this time. I've been a big fan if Elvis since I was a kid so really enjoyed this video too, never saw it before.

False consoles are heart wrenching,
Given up Hopes and altogether sad
Your poem sounds promising and intense
Keep up your good work, may brighten someone's life
From me, as of now, Good night V.
