See The Trees

Trees are so inspiring to me

Pillars of Nature, that live and breathe.

Have you seen Trees in the morning light ?

I never weary of that splendid sight.

Bark and branches dark and light

Sunlight contrasts them as day and night.

Winters starkness enhances delight

No distractions,  just , Trees and Light.

Poetry reader may I suggest

See the Trees,  at my behest !

                                                                passing Bumble Bee  pauses, hovers

                                                                                   face to face

Have you survived the storm ?

The hurricanes the hurricanes

no mercy do they show.

we ask the eternal question

what have we done wrong ?

Don't blame yourselves it's no ones fault

Nor punishment from God.

Time and unforeseen occurrance

I've learned be falls us all.

Prayers are the saving hope

Prayers for our souls.

Endurance

We must now endure,

The storm did rage,

Fear on every face.

Can this be real ?

Some denying still.?

We are caged,

In this sheltered place.

But we survived,

The brave saved our lives.

Learn now. "  we must endure "

September Memories

Prose intro.

I can feel September this morning.

Standing here on the balcony.

" Welcome cooling breeze "  I breath in deeply.

Locuts buzzing in the trees

The flowers in the garden, going to seed.

Verse...

Memories of childhood,  came surgeing throug the years, Appearing in the present, I knew that you'd be here. There I am, a Boy, in the old backyard In long  ago Sept...

Right of Passage

The sirens wail declares approach of Night, Now phantom peacefulness of day is pierced. Eyes are cast, towards the fading light, The role of fear, performs, so well rehearsed. The stewardship of day has passed the torch, Will the night stay true to Deadly course. Brightly burns the flame of these young men, As specters of the streets, they claim their land. Held as hostage the s...

Pathetic utterings

Oh you pathetic utterings,      How is it that you dare ? Dare to represent the whole of me,         My feelings and my cares. As tho you really could exptess,         correctly every mood, And mirror personally,           faithfully and true. The sum of me , is more than know            The whole of me complex. Your words are quite inadequate,           ill not reveal  my...

who knows?

I heard it really happened, yes I just found out, Maybe its a mistake, that person I don't know. Is he a reliable source? Perhaps I'll ask another, But will he know any better, any better than the other ? Maybe I'll ask a 3rd,  they say 3 times a charm, How can I know thats right ? Maybe those people are wrong. Where can I get the answer, Everyone told someone. Who then told...

The vision

Sleep ordains , the vision, at it's will, Nightly it dictates , my mind obeys. Futile are my efforts to impede, Powerless,  reluctant,  I concede. What meaning does this vision, hold for me  Concealing purpose, images won't tell, Yet comes the night;, Once more the visions spell.

Home

A Home is more than walls, and floors and stone.

A Home is more than just a place to sleep

More than shelter from the cold  and rain.

More than doors and glass for window panes.

A Home is where you know that you are loved.

Your welcome there more than   anywhere.

A place where we retreat from world outside.

And in our Hearts we speak,

I'am  Home

I'am. Home

Autumn's Encore

         Autum is my favorite season

Natures finest hour.

Kaleidoscope of colors there, No rival can be found. The rustle and the krakle of Leaves that sacrificed, Their lives to beautify our path, We tread to view their best. The coolness of air so crisp, In early morning frost, Renews our spirit and the soul anxities forgot. And even in dark winter's months, Bleak ...

know your self with in

What was it that I heard ? So faintly audible. A whisper, as a sigh, A groan or uttered word? Then spoke a voice more clearly. So I then realized, The voice I heard, came from within And should not cause surprise. Of me it asked a question, And requested I not lie. Should you not know the voice is you ? Yet ask me. Who am I ?

Winds Return.

A fog bank on the horizon,          As a barrier to our way. And oh the sea so tranquil,            no breeze to ruffle it's face. Our ship, drifting aimlessly,           Her sails hang motionless. Like peacefulness, the stillness brings,             it teachers Hearts to rest. Some sailing on this ship of life,              see Doldrums as an End. Take courage fellow seafar...

child Forsaken

Oh Child Forsaken, Do others know your Pain ?

So young to face the question, will she yet reclaim?

For now that aching question, that pleads to know the why,............

Of She that could not give, your youth will grief the loss,

Agreed it's just not fair, to start at such a cost,

You alone dear child ,You alone will  bear this Cross.
