September Memories

Prose intro.

I can feel September this morning.

Standing here on the balcony.

" Welcome cooling breeze "  I breath in deeply.

Locuts buzzing in the trees

The flowers in the garden, going to seed.

Verse...

  • Memories of childhood,  came surgeing throug the years,
  • Appearing in the present, I knew that you'd be here.
  • There I am, a Boy, in the old backyard
  • In long  ago September, from my memory stored.
  • I felt anew that cooling breeze,
  • And fragrance of our appletrees.
  • Each season has its memories,
  • Oh how could I forget them ?
  • They are so much of me
  • T L SHUFF.
