Hello my name is Terry, iam 70 years old, retired from the Postal Service 11 years. I've written many poems in my life and thought I'd like to have a venue for sharing them with fellow poets. I'am a person that is deep and appreciates Poetry , Art , Also , the most noble qualities of mankind. I look for substance in personalities, ( sorely lacking in todays world ) also , interspection of myself so as to know , who l am what am I about, have I made progress in life, and to keep asking, and keep learning , building appreciation in all creation. Terry.
No Plans. In the closing hours of Day When fools make plans And others Pray Thoughts of you tresspass upon, My mind, my heart, from every dawn Flames of grief anew are lit, rekindling fires of loneliness Consumes my hope to build a new To force this fool to face the truth, There are no Plans, since I lost you.
