UK rioting, London’s burning
Spreading to many city postcodes and other locations,
Police on the beat, patrolling the streets
No means an easy feat, but we won't accept or admit defeat
Communities actively cleaning up fast the aftermath of destruction,
Past dark animosity built up to eruption, resourcefully a huge task ahead
But don’t let it fill one with dread, instead ...

Start afresh, unleash from the mesh
Don’t be afraid to make that mess
Suggest to steer away from being a pest
We are continuously tested, stressed to be the best!
Unnecessary- just be truly out of the ordinary
Without being a fool say sorry
Instead of worrying about nothing
Rather than throwing punches
Stuffing our mouths with useless vocabulary!

Human brainbox, encased within its depths a trillion things
Hovering or bouncing, lurking or surfacing
A whirling, swirling and twirling mass of entities
Not all pleasing or easy on the head to remember
Recalling some full of splendour, others we’d prefer to endeavour.
Clever comebacks we’d wish to gain the courage to vocalise

Liberty is unlimited expression,
Intuition followed by rightful actions
Escape from the grasped clutches of guilt and resentment,
Replaced by optimism and courage!
Loud and proud speech with a conscience,
Not listening to cynics who capture it!
Upmost best of your ability- not under scrutiny
To explain your declaration of independence in the face of adversity!
Break open the shackles- soaring self esteem

Train full of strangers, isolated journeys
Anticipating in a suffocating carriage- destination known
Guaranteed they’ll be a guy with armpit in face,
Hurrying quick smart or snail pace- their own individual race!
Someone dozing leant on your shoulder,
Nudge them sharply- realise but don't appear to bother
A couple whom appear to have desire to do more than just embrace,
