British residents standing strong and solid, lifting off the lid

English citizens young and old have to open their minds and sight,

To realise the plight of youths, whom feel wounded and marginalized

Disenfranchised and despised for an extremely long time.

One can’t be surprised, otherwise that would be lies

Aiming for this unattainable vile consumeristic lifestyle,

Poor and stuck in a dead end rut, this cultural nihilistic or existential hell of a pile

All the while can’t deny the boredom, unable to afford stolen goods they revel to store

Interwoven fabric of materialism, the notion success equals money

Propelling alienation and despair, vengence no display of care

Dare we say blighted by society, isolated individuals becoming ill by their surroundings

Punishment or banishment, treading on dangerous ground

Is unfortunately rife so stifling their potential, capacity and creativity

Although deliberate arson, these feral adolescents are not far gone

That people need to get over and stop being pious,

Instead must confront the reality, authenticity and clarification

To receive response and resolution, rather than shame and anger.

Learn, yearn, ascern, discern and turn towards the furnace

Discover that deep and serious respect should be earned,

Social reform and justice, leisure on a back burner

Insurrection, flames renewing and gathering optimistic spirit.

Healing and cleansing the sickening shame, hatred from those affected

Also suffering enormous pressure and gross misconduct

Kids running riot a diet of violence, exclusion, abuse and boiling bitterness

Tormented mixed emotions, causing mighty terrorising awful commotions

Morally deprived, fearfully impoverished and poverty stricken.

The young misbehave due to their external environment and background,

Hurting due to desperation, resentment, neglect and negligence

It’s necessary for them to establish connections and gain fuelled positive empowerment,

So politically and economically, our government please don’t keep us in suspense

Over this absolute State and ample lament, causing the majority to vent

Upon this tragic trouble and problematic situation, let each and every one of us rise up and combat

Fact there is still great breadth and scope, believing in true faith and hope!
