Precious Stone
She had gemstones
masquerading as eyes
And tears of diamonds
upon her porcelain face
Her ruby lips whispered
pearls of infinite possibilities
And there stood I:
Cubic zirconia, nickel, and clay
But somehow
she made me her equal.
