Jumping waves

Just wait with me. Hold my hand? Jump the waves that reach the sand. 
They push me over when I stand alone, I'm not sure I am strong enough on my own. 
When you are here, life isn't so dark and it's a lot less lonely with the warmth of your heart. 
Can you jump these waves with me a little while longer? 
They're easier to stand up against when together we're stronger.

I've got entangled in pure mystery

never endured a coquette so lewd,

her words twinkle like spangles but

despite all the glitter she's shrewd

 

I've come across some fast workers

in moments she had me unzipped

I'm far from a slouch at glib patter

in her sea-soiled face rests a crypt

So long

It's been so long in this boat

We've been rowing

I can imagine the feeling of my feet touching ground

Circling, edging the deepness of the water to shallow

We never know anymore if its just quicksand

How would we risk flipping the boat to stand

We know where the pieces fit

We put them all back as the boat

There have been so many stormy nights at sea

Where the best of us ...

5 things I remember from the beginning

 

 

Giggles and winks at romantic excess 

The mountains seem like overkill yes

I’d said with a grin that shone my delight 

And fastened my thighs steel clam-snap tight, 

 

The still of his stare, blue-blazing and prised 

By billows of sun emulsified 

In bright, surf-swept skies and slick seas of cloud,

 

Long salted kisses, wet noses bowed,
