Of course you're not offending, and I'm glad you enjoyed the poem Taylor. Means a lot knowing I can put something out and have people enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.?

Your posting reminded me of my own poem... at the time I had just nervously reconnected with an old love after 28 years. So, thanks, Christine. ?

Your sample is powerful with an underlying tonal introspection for oneself, the reader. A story told too often here in America and elsewhere where cyberbullying is the new hallway and trash can.

Hello TC (Top Cat?) - you are ahead of me if you can use
a phone to post poetry online. My own mobile is about
as basic as they get - as is my PC and the "spare" back-up.
Your comments about writing what you know and feel will
resonate with many who may be unsure about "letting it all
hang out" in print. But don't we all look for and admire
honesty in the expression of how we feel about something?
Poetry is the ideal forum for that!
Best wishes
MC

Hi d.Knape.
I have now removed my comment to your poem "A Room full of Poets" as you must have regarded it unfavourably, which perhaps it was, although I still retain that impression. I was trying to be positive in the comment. As for your nitpicking of my profile, I don't feel I have to defend it too much. Your view of poem of the week is understandable in that we all have opinions and will be tempted to knock it off its perch, as I have done myself, or wished to at least.
I'm not what the score is on this quite sad game. Yes, the photo was taken in 1967, but looks better than the old codger I am now. Inappropriate perhaps. No idea where you got the name mistake from, sorry. As for Domestos, I must get out more often. I think I lifted that from an old comic now passed away.
Apart from that have a nice day and keep up the writing.
Nod and a wink.
Ray

You have some reflective and emotional pieces here. Good writing starts in the emotions and works its way outward. You also have some great potential, so don't be afraid to use it every chance you get.?

I think that's pretty great how you've spaced your 2018 blogs apart into an 'annual tour'. Makes great material for a side project should you ever wish to publish, and the poems provide insight and introspect.?
Keep journeying Trev, it'll give you something great to write about.
