Risky Poet

Risky Poet

I am a risky poet

Some things I put on screen

At times attract me trouble

Things I do want seen

Those of you who know me

Will know I mean no harm

OK I may cast pebbles

Make ripples in the calm

Recently I picked a rock

Risky (and also brave)

When cast upon WOL's smooth-like calm

Produced a tidal wave

I rarely try for tidal waves

Except in needs extreme

I'm happy just with ripples

Ripples on your screen

We can't live life always in calm

Ripples keep us on our toes

Prevent relaxing, loss of guard

Time for poem close

Brian - You state that pebble after pebble after pebble produces an unwanted cumulative effect. Where did you get this strange idea from? It can also produce wanted cumulative effects the last I heard.

Trouble is, when you throw pebble after pebble after peddle aimed at the same thing it produces an unwanted cumulative effect.

Don,

No apologies are needed as it is the responsibility of poets to be forthright, to be the voice of dissent and tidal waves can be very effective in achieving this. Send us a few tsunamis.

Thank you

Keith
