Holiday Build. R and R Centre for Expired Poets

 

Pereamble

The Centre has been built to aid  recuperation of expired WOL poets.  Pic shows our nymphs on floor waiting first influx.

 

You'll notice I've been absent

Thought I'd take a break

Revitalise my engines

Revitalise them make

 

So what you gonna do Don?

On your holidays?

Thought I'd build a Centre

To while the time away

 

I've sought out a developer

One which I have hired

To build an RR Centre

For poets who've expired

 

I'm gonna fill the Centre

With fun and much great mirth

Revitalise these poets

Who think they've lost their worth

 

So far I've had a line-up

Of poets wanting in

They keep on knocking at my door

Don when's it gonna fin?

 

So

 

I looked around at R and R's

To give me some ideas

I even toyed with flat-packs

Went right through all Ikeas

 

Eventually

 

I took a bit of RR-This

A bit of RR-That

And spliced them all together

Watched it grow, sat back

 

As an RR builder

I was quite enthralled

I guess I've had some practice though

At building humour walls

 

Any humour poet

Is welcome through the door

Stay awhile or drift on by

Enjoy our nymphs on floor

 

(We thought they'd make a nice drawcard.....)

 

I have to add embellishments

Which R and R's can't lack

Maybe a spa?, a pool?, a bar?

To keep them coming back

 

Our Centre has a drinking song

That poets recoup with

Back to where they're aiming for

A good fluent wordsmith

 

“Sing along in sweet refrain

Sing along with us

Until Don writes a better song

We sing superfluous”
