Battle Cry

You think you rule this whole damn town
But I can tell you for sure, I'm stealing the crown
You may have won before, but I won't back down
I deserve to finally be free now.

You walk with attitude, like women in heeled shoes
But it doesn't take a genius to know you haven't got a clue
You fought well though, so don't feel blue
When you see the tables turning, against you.

You think you rule this whole damn town
But I can tell you for sure, I'm stealing the crown
You may have won before, but I won't back down
I deserve to finally be free now.

Your minions run around, following your commands
But they aren't that loyal, especially in others hands
The times are changing, time to venture to another land
For this time you have lost your final hand.

You think you rule this whole damn town
But I can tell you for sure, I'm stealing the crown
You may have won before, but I won't back down
I deserve to finally be free now.

Your aggressive tactics are shit
Your followers don't like them one bit
Soooner or later they're sure to quit
Will you be so strong, when you've no one who'll hit?

You think you rule this whole damn town
But I can tell you for sure, I'm stealing the crown
You may have won before, but I won't back down
I deserve to finally be free now.

Your new manipulation falls flat
Did you think that  anyone would believe that?
I think you're falling, having lost your tact
A storm is brewing, that's a fact
And from this kingdom, you are sacked.

You think you rule this whole damn town
But I can tell you for sure, I'm stealing the crown
You may have won before, but I won't back down
I deserve to finally be free now.

Poem about anxiety and the ways it destructs, and the sudden motivation to battle it and confront it head on.

You will find I tend to personify many emotions as if they were people or beings
