I LOVE YOU TODAY

Lucky it's me -

So glad it's you,

Enchantment in all of the things that we do,

My feelings are many, my words but a few,

Remember - I love you today.

Sometimes it's right -

Sometimes it's wrong,

Sometimes our tune is a now and then song,

But we know our refrain and we know when it's wrong,

Remember - I love you today.

Maybe we could -

Maybe we would

Always be tender, it's good that we should,

When love comes so rarely it's misunderstood,

Remember - I love you today.

Some days it's joy -

Some days it's pain,

Always the sun coming after the rain,

And always I'll tell you again and again

Remember - I love you today.

Hey - does J.C. equate with "just cynical"?
Have you no romance in your soul? Read it or sing it - the message is the same.

You dirty Old Bugger! I hope it worked. It's cheaper than flowers anyway.
Am I mistaken or is it a song in the making rather than a stand alone poem (albeit with a very specific purpose)?
Anyroadup, I enjoyed it.
