A Kind Of Splendour
It had gone from your eyes when you saw me
The light that used to adore me
It dimmed to a mist in the forest
Where a canopy of leaves once fell for us
They fell like colourful snow
As we laughed & danced in its flow
Wondering if we could stay there forever
Thinking life was full of this splendour
But, time came & took you away
And the only thing that I could...

A Winter Escape

Like comets we slid through the crisp, white grass
In our wake billowed a powder-puff mass
It floated and swirled and twinkled with light
Like low-hanging stars broke free of the night
And in snow-laden fields angels were...
