On the Edge of a Dream
on the edge of an enchanted forest
rests a do-it-yourself log cabin, a humble home
where chipmunks and squirrels romp
& trees reach up to stick twigged fingers
to the peaceful cotton turquoise sky
next door, a sprawling field sprouts
new corn nursing under an afternoon sun
