String Me Along

String me along with the kites that you fly,

Threaded between the clouds and the starlight.

You'll never believe the view from up here.

Covering lies.

Developing lives.

Old Abandoned House

I caught you peeking through the window,

Of this old abandoned house,

Finely crafted from the dreams I left behind.

I stopped you dead in your tracks,

The tracks I once wandered when I discovered this realm.

How did you find me through this smoke?

It was much to blinding for me.

You took my hand and walked away,

Only pulling half of me with you.

If just for a moment...

Germantown

My greatest decision was to give my heart to nobody, but it resulted in an amazing loneliness. I created a safe haven. A comfortable place in my head, where words couldn't reach and prying eyes could never see. But with the gain of comfort, there came a sudden, unexpected loss of understanding.

I began to look for answers in places I had never dreamed existed, places that only exist in t...

LOVE DRUG

At first love was a pump, a needle,

Eyes wide when your high

...Or see someone you like.

Stifled, we always rivalled

Till no more, the beat became sore

And we spiralled, overdosed,

Hot headed, cold blooded.

Passion became blown out,

The anticlimax of a candle...

Like the heroin ran through her heart,

Like the cocaine contorted her chest,

Like the salvia had shaken ...

cure my spending addiction

My spending addiction is getting so bad,

It’s even driving my cats totally mad.

I buy everything that I see,

I wonder what the next thing will be.

Any excuse to go and shop,

I just don’t know how to stop.

I took an overdraft out with the bank,

Wayne is on the verge of giving me a spank.

I buy multiple items of the same thing,

I just love the sound of the till going ...

Sulphur

SULPHUR

SULPHUR MAKES A GOOD SUPPER,

IT GOES WELL WITH A LIQUID LUNCH,

SOCIETY RATIONS OUR THOUGHTS JUST LIKE IT RATIONS PIECES OF BREAD,

WHAT'S THE PRICES OF OUR FACES?

WHAT'S THE PRICES OF OUR COFFINS WE ARE ALL DYING TO FIT INTO?

IF SULPHUR SEEPS MIGHTY DEEP IT IS ALMOST NEVER EXTRACTED,

WHAT SERVES AS OUR DISTRACTION INSTEAD OF PUFFING SULPHUR EVERY

MINUTE OF THE ...

The Moth

The moth, she knows the flame will burn
But back again, again she comes,
Her velvet collisions dress the air,
Sparkling against these tempting embers
Where she throws herself over and over
Upon the most flickering of fascinations,
Such senseless self-immolation
Strips her to a carapace,
Leaving her scorched, naked, undressed, undone,
Beneath the tragic unravelling of her world.
