Is it just me... or do I appear to have sex on the brain lately? Hmmm, it's not healthy!

It started as business on a trial basis
your understudy, partner in crime
the exchange of signatures
contract terms
within weeks we were exchanging body fluids
dirty secrets and Heaven knows what else.
You showed me the ropes, and something else
not included...

What she said

You will miss me

when you are alone, she said,

when the tide of life’s cold wind

freezes about your head

when the sunset burns red

and only you are there to see

when the laughing of the stream

mocks you in your stead

when your arms wrap around nothing

as they search your empty bed

when you melt at seeing a smile

but wake from dreaming it instead

How To Mend A Broken Heart

To mend a broken heart,
you must seek out the hidden spark,
that which lingers still within,
though it's light may now be dim...

And when you at last discover it,
be sure to protect and cherish it
with gentle warmth and actions kind
until it glows brightly in your mind.

Then strengthened with that pleasing glow,
onwards once again you may then go,

Splintered Timber

entry picture

Splintered Timber

My ship has but one hull,

painted white with one red stripe.

Below deck I lay my head

in a thousand different ways

and dally on a Wildian Chamber.

My ship has but one bed,

one pastel coloured sheet.

A thousand novels in but

one space, a hundred

thousand foreign words.

My ship has but one line

I lose track after a foot o...

But Anyway I Still Love You

entry picture

You play with me and I can see it,

Sometimes you even laugh at me,

Sometimes I hate you, dear fellow,

Sometimes I pray to be with you.

Can't find the treatment to forget you,

So many sorrow're in my heart,

Though you just show off my dear

But still my darling I LOVE YOU!

So many hearts were broken by you

But you don't care and ...

A Certain Lady

There's a certain wistful aspect to her gentle grace

A fair haired lovely with elegance embedded in her face

Clear eyed and full lipped with cheekbones well defined

And just to top that outer view is the beauty of her mind

Such a combination must be more than many men can bear

So much for them to live up to - may they hope they can ensnare

A lady filled with p...

Dishonest Nostalgia

entry picture

It was a picturesque scene,

An army of tree's, stood to attention.

Hands holding, we marched,

Without intervention.

My feet crunched leaves,

Rotten wood, sticks, anything that happened to be in my way.

She was more delicate, careful not to disturb,

The inhabitants of this habitat, Bless her.

This utopic place I found, impressed her

I honestly wish this story ...

Hearts and flowers and shit

(Valentines poem 2010)

A saying someone told to me,

these days when even love is tough,

“if you love somebody, set them free...” –

give them a false sense of security

then when they come back to you,

tie them up and ,

do stuff.

You know, like...

The Rose

The flowers unfold

as I pick the rose

walking in the park

way after dark

with my boyfriend.

I lift the rose

as i climb the fence

wondering what the passer-by thinks

of me and my boyfriend.

he lends me a hand

as he stands on the pavement

smiling with his eyes

this handsome man,

my boyfriend.

the passer-by stops

as i be...
