Hi Jeff,
just want to say it was lovely to see you again last night and as usual you did a great job as compere. You always make everyone feel welcome and appreciated for their efforts, and i especially appreciate that, being a woman who walks in alone looking around for a friendly face.

I like your lighthouse poem by the way. It reminds me a little of how i feel sometimes.

See you soon

Thanks for a great night at Bolton.
Sorry I didnt do the full 15 minutes, but I dont think any more than 15 is good for any poet, no matter who or what unless they are very adaptable, im getting there but have a lot to learn yet., you def have to break it up, people just get bored, no matter ...I didnt wanna do that 4 you Jeff. It was great night! I Love your delivery style its good and kinda punky! (whatever that means!)

keep going and heres for another Jeff night please.

Thanks Jeff, for your comments on mix-tape - I think the others were right in that it doesn't flow easily in quite a few places, I keep meaning to take it down and re-write it.
Do you know Dawson is a very old English surnames? - mentioned in the Domesday Book around the Middleton & Rochdale areas.

Hi Jeff, thanks for your comments about Re-awoken. You are dead right about using "for" instead of "to" and in fact it said that on the original handwritten version.

And yes it does suffer a little from cliches. Seems that "being in love", being something of a cliche itself, causes an overdose of cliches. I can see I may have a bit of a battle against them or I could just embrace them and do something fun with them.

Anyway Jeff, thanks

Seamus

Well, maybe one day i'll find out for sure.

Jeff, you always take the time to read our work and I'm happy to see you developing in your confidence and writing. I enjoy your work especially because of your musical passions. I am more inspired by good song lyrics than poetry, but then I think good song lyrics are poetry. I think that quality musicians and bands have a lot going for them in terms of poetic influence. Take Roger Waters for example.

Thank you for your kindness and sincerity and understanding.

Its of no surprise that you have so much love here Jeff.

Look forward to seeing you soon. I may get t the green rooms this Thursday.

Hello Jeff,

Thank you for your comments on my poem. Like you I'm relatively new to writing, and I'm exploring new avenues all the time.

I did think that the ZXombie poem was rather short, so thank you for confirming this for me.

I live and work in Japan and like more and more countries around the world, people are just sooo busy and can't see the wood for the trees, this is what my poem is about, if you hadn't guessed already.

I really like your poems, keep up the good work.

Alreet Jeffo... Sunday was a good night. Nay, Sunday was a fine night and one to be recorded in the annuls of WOL folklore.
As far as tribute bands go - I'm afraid I don't do tribute bands. As good as they are, they're not the real McCoy. The Stanglers are inimitable. If I heard a tribute band I wouldn't be able to get the concept of 'Jive Bunny' or 'Stars on 45' out of my head.
It's the boys themselves or nothing for me. If you're going in October/ November let me know. I usually get to a couple of gigs in and around the North West. Although Dublin would be a good one?

Somewhere outside Tokyo invented time.
Someone with a million watches invented time...

Poetry.

Hi Jeff, I chose timeless finity for its juxtaposition, because we really don't know if the world is infinite or if it will be bound my time just as in the case ourselves, no one really knows if our death will start another timeline going, maybe in a parallel universe, thanks for the comments Jeff! I still need to make it to one of the gigs!
