Hi Emma - thanks for the lovely poem you left on the WOLOP blog - you should blog that one too! You just have to go back into mystic fairy and update it but putting WOLOP.dec in the tag at the bottom. It's not the end of the world if you can't do it. I'm sure people will be able to find it through the profile. Your comments are much appreciated. x

I read all your blog postings, and I enjoyed the time I spent there. I like ruins too, and a lot of your poetry is a bit like reading my own thoughts. Looking forward to more.

Hello Alli, thank you for your lovely, kind words on Villtur Augu. There is double, treble meanings, you're right. It would be easier to just shout it in plain English sometimes, but i keep doing this. I wish you all the best for this coming decade, keep writing your lovely words too, sister muse, (I love that term, thank you) : ) Deb xx

Hello Cynthia and Happy New Year. .Thank you for your kind comments on Villtur Augu.I hope I didn't cause you to waffle for too long : ) I didn't mean the stone Angels, ( that sounds like a band) more about individuals who I could take to be one thing, but who could be another.Judging them by clouded thoughts when they could be Angels in covens. hmm, sometimes I lose part of myself..sometimes I also lose another person..but you're right, neither are dead in the literal sense, it just feels like it at times. thanks again for reading and giving my words so much thought, deb xx

Hi John,
Thanks for your kind remarks about my requiem, and 'Close' - much appreciated. I have to say my favourite is the lachrymosa from Mozart's requiem - always moves me (yes - to tears!). Though I like the Fauré too.
Is it a bit barmy to like something that makes you cry? .....probably. Hey ho.

Hi Sheridan, I've really enjoyed reading your posts so far. You're work is full of strong emotion and inner thought. 'THE WORD WEIRD' is a favourite for me. I love the defiant ending which tells me you're always going to be true to yourself so please don't even change, simply grow.

Thanks for your kind comments on the weather girl. If you'd heard the audio the poem wouldn't have surprised you with it's ending! It features my son trying to sound like a dirty old man, and making a worryingly good job of it!

Hi AnnRe Googlize. Actually wobble would not be allowed here. This one is taken from my calculator series. The alphabet used is derived from letters on a calculator read upside down. So 0 = o, 1 = i, 2 = z etc E,h,s,g,L,B follow. Here's another -
Zoo Shloo
Geese gozzle,
bees hibe,
hogs boss,
eels loobe.
Eggs.
Eggs…
Shhh
Eggs sigh.

Ann, I so know what you mean about the poem on the back of the fag packet syndrome. I wrote one in half an hour the other day while the kids were pestering me and I was hugely pleased with it. Others I work on, like really work and they just don't have that 'feeling'...weird innit!

Hi Andy, thanks as always for your comments on all my poems.
To be honest, i think i posted the last one way too early. It needs some more work and i'm not happy with the title. It just doesn't sit right so i'll have a think.

Hiya Mark,
nice to see your real tag but i liked Horace the spider too.
Thanks for your comment on my latest poem. I do think i posted it a little too early though and i also think i've edited a little too much out of it and on top of all that i now want to change the title. hmmm...
we live and learn! :-)

Thanks for your comments on my HD poem. I agree with what you say. As so often, I rushed to put the poem on. Have turned breath into breathe, which is what it was meant to be. I think my problem is that my poems jump into my head then right onto the page without me thinking much about them! Nice to get such a lot of caring feedback! xx

I adored Beautiful Girl, it had me in stitches. It also made my other half laugh too, no mean feat. The King is Dead had some fabulous ryhthms in it, I read it aloud (to the other half again) and the "son of a mother..."stanza in particular was just gorgeous to read.
