Free Verse, the poetry book and magazine fair, returns on Saturday 22 February, and to its traditional location in London’s Conway Hall. The book fair is now organised by the Poetry Society, and in addition to a full programme of events at the hall during the day, poetry readings will continue in the evening at the Poetry Society’s Poetry Café.

Free Verse is an all-day bazaar, market, library, meeting place, performance venue, and information resource. The fair and poetry readings begin at the Conway Hall at 10.30am, and continue to 4.30pm. Readings will go on from 6.30-8.30pm in the Poetry Café.

Here is the programme of readings. Write Out Loud has regularly covered previous poetry book fairs. Read our reports from 2017, and from 2016, to get a flavour of what it’s all about.
