custodians of wisdom based on life´s experience

In our advanced culture of high technology

the elderly are put aside as having served their purpose

 

Fashion is to be attractive and up to date

modernity is the way forward, the means of progress

Old Fashioned is to be shunned and scorned

a rave from the grave, a revive forty five

 

Cannot we harness the two to propel

us with wisdom into an unknown future

Cannot we walk together in mutual benefit

as partners of an equal contribution

 

The old were once young and dynamic

the young are dynamic but lack experience

To complement each other is of profound sense

everyone is of inestimable value in life
