Bigger and Better Bombs

 

Should we build more new schools

with indoor and outside pools

More hospitals are urgently needed

let´s hope and pray our voices are heeded

 

Let´s plant more trees and clean up the beaches

including our land to its furthermost reaches

New universities for many to improve the mind

and money for research to restore sight for the blind

 

We must stop any further use of fossil fuels

and introduce penalties to enforce these rules

Electric vehicles are the new and better way

that is what scientists and environmentalists say

 

But I say different to these wishful thinkers

whose eyesight is well and truly binkered

Build bigger and better bombs is what I say

no holding back, let´s go the whole way

 

A full range of intercontinental ballistic missiles to fire

that should provoke the enemies ire

Nuclear submarines that can fire anywhere at will

don´t worry about cost as our income tax will pay the bill

 

Bigger and better bombs and chemical weapons

to choke the life out of our enemy peons

Let us make ourselves great again

and let our enemies suffer and know the pain

 

More oil tankers to spill their vile oil

as long as its not on our soil

Bigger and better bombs is what I advocate

this will bring us victory with guaranteed hate

 

Let´s get our priorities straight

weapons to kill those we hate

To use any means to wipe them out

with not even time to let them shout

 

Don´t plant a tree: sponsor a bomb instead

especially the type with liquid toxic lead

Don´t mess about with wild life preservation and pigeon carriers

what we urgently need is to build more aircraft carriers
