What Flavor Are You

I like ketchup on my hot dogs

That doesn't make me wrong

Each and everyone of us

Can sing a similar song

Some people like caviar

Port wine and sauteed shallots

Others want a juicy steak

Atop a bed of lettuce

Peanut butter and mayonnaise

Don't knock it til you've tried it

Curry bowls with jasmine rice

Take anything and fry it

Stroganoff, blood pudding

Muffaletta, egg fu yung

So many different flavors

For so many different tongues

Tacos, just plain oatmeal

Bacon ice cream too

Oysters on the half shell

Stinky tofu

Pickles on a pizza

Eggplant parm and rabbit stew

Yes, and ketchup on a hot dog

What flavor are you

Bacon icecream and ketchup ugh!!!!!!!! Aubergine parmigiano any day. (Parmesan is a fraud 'cos Parmigiano, the correct name and the genuine Italian cheese, is protected by law, and but the producers can't be sued for calling their stuff Parmesan.) What is a muffaletta?
Great writing!

Bacon Ice Cream! And so the eagle soars! Please forgive America's deep infatuation with bacon. Bacon makes everything right. But for me Muffaletta any day.

I like the idea that I can be my own flavor! And that's okay! Thank you Lisa! I have to say eggplant parm, though I've never had it! It sounds so yummy! ?

Yea Lisa-- bacon ice cream-- that is a very hard sell.
A boiled egg, some toast and Marmite and a good cup of builders tea will do me fine any time.
Go well

Lisa,

My flavour stands in awe at this poem as I am a vegetarian but am well able to recall those days when I thoroughly enjoyed a fillet steak with black pepper sauce. What you offer is tempting but I would have to say a decidedly NO to Bacon Ice Cream.

A good poem
Thank you for this
Keith
