I remember the day when we first met, the day I made you mine,

our eyes met across a crowded room and I fed you a funny line.

 

"What's a cute thing like you doing in a place like this?" I said,

you came home with me that day and spent the night with me in bed.

 

I considered you my best friend and gave you everything,

I gave you a home, looked after you and took you under my wing.

 

When you were sick I cared for you, fed and kept you warm,

I spoiled you and loved you and kept you out of harm.

 

Today I happened to walk by the park and couldn't believe my eyes,

all this time you had been cheating on me and I believed your lies.

 

I saw you with another guy, you were playing around with him,

he called you by another name, you committed the ultimate sin.

 

I'll eradicate any reminders of you and delete you from my blog,

I'll throw away your bowl and lead, that's the last time I buy a dog!
