New Helen Dunmore collection looks back 40 years

The family of Helen Dunmore and some of her close friends will be at Waterstones in London’s Piccadilly on Tuesday 26 February for the launch of the late poet’s collection Counting Backwards: Poems 1975-2017.

Helen Dunmore won the Costa Book of the year prize in 2018 with her posthumous collection Inside the Wave. As well as critically acclaimed fiction, she also published 10 collections of poetry. Counting Backwards brings together all the poems she included in her earlier selection, Out of the Blue, with all those from her three later collections and a number of additional poems from her earlier collections.The launch event begins at 7pm.
