How to console a poor cook after a catastrophy

Jim had been married to Jane for forty years,

He came home from work one evening and found her in floods of tears.

As a cook she was never a winner.

"It's a disaster",she cried"the cat's eaten your dinner!"

Comforting her Jim said, "Don't worry about that,

Tomorrow my darling I'll get you a new cat."

Another welcome chuckle from this reliable source. I think
the late lamented Les Dawson would approve! Can't say
fairer than that.
