Man Versus Marlin

In and out the sea doth sway

Erasing mans death and decay.

An old man's struggle,

No net, no sail. Only a flag

of permanent defeat.

Great fish swimming around and around,

the reel running, a screaming sound.

A Marlin swims, the ultimate catch,

only days to see if luck they will have.

The men struggle and pray away,

A massive catch needed to save the day.

The sea so violent, a wrath of despair,

Its’ children mangled by the men who dare.

In and out the sea doth sway

Erasing mans death and decay.

An old man's struggle,

No net, no sail. Only a flag

of permanent defeat.

Aw thankyou ? I'm glad I give you new stuff to read often enough?

I do, they're all saved on to my pc and my USB, and alternatively on my WordPress blog as well as here. That way I have 3 back up life lines, and at least on here I get feedback to improve, edit out errors etc before I pit it forward into my anthology folder?

By the end of this year I aim to have enough pieces to create an anthology and start sending it out to poetry anthology publishers on hopes one see' s the potential in me and take me on haha?

Yeah you do. Every time I get on there seems to be a new piece by you done and ready. It's good enjoyment and entertainment instead of scrolling through the same things for me. I hope you save all of your poems so you can collect an anthology, you would make a very good book with all of these.

You're very prolific aren't you?

P.S. I think you meant "man's" with an apostrophe, hope this helps.
