Wake me up

Wake me up when the storm has passed
And the ravens have left the tower
Wake me up when the war machine
Has finally run out of power
Wake me up when the bigots
Have finally opened their eyes
And all of the presidents have given up telling lies
Wake me up when the tables have turned
And lessons have been learned

Wake me up when the big game hunters
Have finally paid for their crime
Wake me up when the government
Has found some reason and Rhyme
Wake me up when the food banks
Are finally obsolete

When all of the people have enough to eat
Wake me up when the mines
Are once more producing coal
And all of the working classes can achieve their goal
Wake me up when the NHS has plenty of money to burn
Wake me up when the class rooms
Are not to crowded to learn
Wake me up when climate change
Is taken seriously
Wake me up when the media
Doesn’t lie editorially

Wake me up when brexit is no longer the talk of the town
When all of the hysteria has eventually died down
Wake me up when the world is at peace
When there is no fight to fight
Wake me up when we see the demise of the despicable far right
Wake me up when the world stands as one
I don’t want to miss that sight

Wake me up when the worms have turned

And the power changes hands
When songs of rejoice can be heard all across the lands
Wake me up when Trident is no longer breaking the bank
Wake me up when the love train has plenty of file in the tank.

I like this one Andrew. It's full of hope, tinged with frustration of the system.
