November

Red plimsolls, step outside.

Gold, green, auburn and burgundy

permeate pavements, walls.

Palms, fingers – caress Magnus the cat: His eyes smoulder.

Squirrels forage, tails like ships

in a whirlpool of leaves.

Black and white collie scarpers past

trees splutter.

Red plimsoll’s step inside

They Squelch.

Hi Belinda, just searched for 'November' and found this. I really like it, so nice, true and dynamic. It took me on a journey, just like this year's November did..Dali
