Write Out Loud at Stockport art gallery tonight

Members of Write Out Loud Stockport will be meeting at Stockport art gallery on Monday 13 November to share poems. Each month readers contribute to a collage poem, and you can read October’s here. Entry is a £1 donation and it begins at 7pm. More details and Map

When The Door is Slammed the Fire Goes Out

Within this house
we call home
love burns intense
keeping us warm
harsh winter stares
cold bitter words
fighting for no
reason at all
when the door
is slammed shut
you leave behind - - -

a frozen heart.
