you would not believe how easy it is to break a mirror!
and we're not talking the ones that you see in the clearance sections at stores,
we're talking about the mirror that shows you how you think about yourself.

this mirror is one made of a very special glass,
one that comes in all different shapes and sizes for every person,
one that is very often...fragile.

a child often begins their life with their mirror clean and polished but as they become
exposed
to the outside world, this mirror begins to get cracks.
and the cracks go from slivers, to lines, to eventually major gashes...
all due to sledgehammers that we like to call SOCIETY.

the hardest part about all this is that a mirror can never be truly fixed.
not uncommon from the mirrors in real life, you can do everything to save the mechanism looking into your very own soul.
you can try taping over cracks. gluing parts together. and things might look close to original,
but never, ever, good as new. because in the end

the damage has been done and the glass is shattered.
and it will stay shattered forever.
