The boy I met , the man I love

“Knees go weak or my heart pounds”
This never happens when he is around
Fingers don’t tremble but smile gets a curve
For the boy I met, the man I love

Stylishly shoves the door and enters the room
Weaves dream- threads on the thought-loom
Freezes me as he raises right brow
that boy I met, the man I love

Hands in hands, on those busy streets
Owned me in his humourous titbits
‘Twas corner of a bus stop in a metro
there boy I met, the man I love

Bronze brown skin had nostalgic allure
In drizzling showers on the sea-shore
Melting sunset and glistening rainbow
Knew; the boy I met, the man I love

Suddenly sublime silence went vocal
Leaving me awestruck at his adam’s apple
Cool were the denims; striped t-shirt yellow
Of the boy I met, the man I love

Dressed in shirt and trousers one day
Enduring talks took my breath away
Feet on the skies; land was above
When the boy I met, the man I love

Glanced at me in a crowded train
I summed up self; sanely insane
Time at my will, the day went slow
with the boy I met, the man I love

Ecstatically evolved, a child inside though
Growing a minute old will be with him now
Found my soul mate, I was sure somehow
Since the boy I met, the man I love
