you made the gods stronger,
through your mischief.

What of the walls of Asgard?
Without you, oh Loke,
they would be vulnerable,
against the Jotuns.
You had the walls built,
for next to nothing.
In your deemed foolishness,
gave birth to Sleipnir,
the Mighty Steed of One Eye.
A selfish god would not of done that,
give away his blood to his blood.

Bane of Baldur,
the paradoxical god,
restored order,
by guiding Hod's hand.
Many deem this as heinous,
and arguably treacherous,
but they do not realize,
the importance of your role:
You restore order,
and cause disorder.

Father of Lies,
you are called.
This is slander,
through your flyting,
you made light of the dark,
the gods hide.

God of Fire,
you are,
many do not know,
Lodur and you,
are the same.
Blood you gave us,
and goodly color.
