Not like in the brochure
It wasn’t transparent in the photo,
in the brochure it was opaque
so why on earth did I trust it?
It was some mistake to make.
On the model it was a pashmina
laid across cool summer dress,
butterfly pattern not so busy,
it didn’t look such a mess.
Instead of draping on shoulders
on a balmy summer night,
I’d only wear it in winter coat
tucked well away out of sight.
Gave the book back with my order,
proof gone if you get my gist,
item dropped from new catalogue
and online it just don't exist!
Why can’t their pictures be honest?
I know they just want to sell
but they can’t want repeat custom
nor think much of their clientele!
