Rekindle cake (plus video performance attached at bottom)

Rekindle cake

You take a teaspoon of wisdom, add two ounces of brave.
Then you extract the past and the now try to save.

Six drops of humble mixed with fine compromise
And then stir in to taste, as you look in her eyes

One cup of loves flour, and two knobs…………… who love.
Then you ask for some help from the chefs up above.

A sprinkle of smiles and a handful of gumption.
Take nothing for granted and make no assumption.

Four grams of will, and a dash of forgive.
A wish not to break and a strong will to live.

Then dust with the truth and then kneed…………………. for each other.
Realise your not trapped but your now free to love her.

A good measure of soul search, and your own actions weigh.
See through all the bullshit and games that you play.

Then into the oven and turn up the heat…………….
Until integrity rises and bitter turns sweet.

Take out of the oven and then let it set
You’ve just formed the base but your not quite their yet

Then you whip up some courage and throw in some spice.
Forget all the bad times and start to feel nice.

Then you plop that on base form the shape of a heart.
Hope the mixture don’t split………………. hope that you’ll never part.

Rediscover you’re soul mate, this will be your glaze.
Then you brush it on gently and both change your ways.

Then decorate carefully with artistic flair
Caress her face…………….Know that your nearly there

It takes love and patience……………………………….. and a will not to stop.
and I just cant be arsed now………………………… going back the cake shop!.

Hi Ged

Some cracking sentiments and lines in this, although it's chockful of typos and I felt terrible rage at those ;p

This line really stood out for me, and tells me it comes from your own experience:

Realise your not trapped but your now free to love her.

^ real wisdom gained from serious thought. Love it.
