When I don’t answer

You have no place
In my soul
When I keep silent
It doesn’t mean
I have nothing
To impart
When I don’t pray
It doesn’t mean
I am drifting
From your side
For I am always
Hiding in shadows
From the radiance
Of your glory.

Although the distinction is a fine one I have replaced 'import' with 'impart'.
Stimulating. It reminds me that you don't have
to be in a church to revel in the glory of
creation or to feel a part of it.
A minor quibble - should "import" be read as "impart" (communicate)?
